Staff were very friendly and helpfull
Rooms were slightly dated, but that was the style of the hotel
The hotel has old world charm and the staff are exceedingly courteous and friendly.
We thought the hotel is beginning to show its age. Some areas such as the bathrooms need upgrading to compete at the highest level. The gardens were also not what we experienced on our previous visit although it must be said that previously we visited in spring.
We only stayed for one night on our way home after a trip to the Kruger National Park. Having travelled far the day before, we did not feel like getting dressed for dinner. We had the fire lit and ordered from room service so we could just sit around and relax and read the newspaper. Most enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks.
Double ply toilet paper would be nice!
The food offered by the hotel is of a very high quality, and the hotel has a very nice bar with big screen.
I think foreign speaking people would struggle as the level of English spoken at the hotel is not very high. The Hotel is dated, but as I've been told this is the charm. If you are looking for a modern hotel / spa, this isn't it.
The wonderful home away from home ambience; staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Never had the idea that making a profit was foremost in the mind as with many other 'boutique' type setups. The menu as well as a la Carte selection excellent. The proof was also in the pudding!
I spent little time at the hotel because i was attending a meeting on the other side of Tzaneen. I liked the room very much
The Hotel has a lot of character, is in an attractive location and the food was particularly good. These, coupled with the large room/bathroom and extra large beds made it a pleasant, good value stay.
The service, although very friendly, was often slow and not especially competent.
The food, service and scenary was good.
We were very dissapointed that we couldn't find any noughat to buy or even complimentary noughat when beds were prepared for the night seeing its your claim to fame.....
I like the spa and relaxing facilities like pool quet and no kids around.pretty relaxing. One thing I would improve is service.Stuff is confused need trainning as describedfor 5 star hotel.Rest is almost perfect.
The location, setting absolutely beautiful. The food was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
the hotel is shabby for a 5* hotel. No quality control.
Confort and relaxing
the location, surrounding and serenity. evironment very clean. thank you!!!!
